Although many competitive anglers are aces on the water, they need help with the marketing package. This is where we come in. Avid Angler Promotions recognizes that there is a lot more to just having good chops on the water to become a successful pro; making you appealing to sponsors and supporters is a study in psychology. There is nothing worse than being a top competitive angler on a particular tour and turning in a sub-standard resume, cover letter and proposal to potential sponsors. These days, budgets (even for big companies) for backing professional anglers are getting smaller and smaller and they can afford to be pickier about who they choose to be ambassadors for their brand. It's not rocket science - it's marketing 101. "Can this person convey our message or promote our products in an effective manner and boost sales?" About UsImmersed in the print and marketing industry for over 20 years, New Jersey based angler, freelance writer, photographer and magazine editor, Tom Presnell chases bass all over the Northeast, competing in local and regional tournaments. When not on the water, he is either writing, editing, promoting or participating in trade shows and seminars. At the suggestion of a friend who needed a professional bass fishing résumé and knew of Tom’s skills and experience, Avid Angler Promotions was created to help anglers at all levels obtain the promotional materials to acquire sponsorships, who might otherwise struggle with writing and generating their own artwork. Tom’s work is based on years of business experience, strategic marketing, a creative mindset, persuasive writing, interaction with numerous fishing industry professionals and a knack for customizing every angler’s needs to their unique personality to achieve their desired results. It can be a valuable tool to use in many different circumstances.

A: No. Avid Angler Promotions gathers a large amount of information about each individual and their qualifications and accomplishments in order to portray them in the best possible light. We equip each angler with the proper promotional tools and coaching in order to empower them to win over potential sponsors.
Q: Does Avid Angler Promotions provide website design and hosting?

Q: Why don’t you list pricing on your promotional package selections?
A: Simply put, every individual’s requirements are different and every project is customized to the angler’s specific needs. We purposely don’t offer “cookie cutter” résumés, proposals and cover letters, so that the end result reflects each person’s personality and style. Therefore, every project is logged and billed hourly and allows each client to do as much or as little as their needs require, without being locked into a “package.”
Q: Does Avid Angler Promotions provide quality printed copies of my materials?
A: Yes, we can. Avid Angler Promotions has multiple sources for printing and all of them are very affordable. A vendor will be chosen based on your type of project, quantity and turnaround.
